Even easier with the new 2022 Photoshop update. So for this photoshop
In the tutorial, I'm going to show you how to use that new feature. And remove the background in photoshop. the tool you want to go to fourth

Now many of us know that when it was first released in 2020 it was originally used

So these are pretty self-explanatory and very basic but we're just going to go
on them because I think it's important to know
so the first thing to do is
turn this feature on and off
For example, if you now hover over your image
will now notice that it will highlight anything you want to kill it

what would it look like if we had to make the selection
Next to this, you will have to refresh so if your image or your picture was not there
correctly lift or highlight you can refresh it

You can put it on auto-refresh or refresh manually so basically if you
wanted it to detect automatically

this one but if it was annoying and it just slows things down then set it
manual and then you also have things like overlay options it's all down
Your choice if you want to change the color you can go with it easily
to any other color just change it here
If you instead wanted Inside Selected you could set it
outside and it will select outside instead of inside
and of course, you can also change the opacity so we can put it on something
too little or too much depending on what you want it to be
like and then finally we have the auto show
overlay always shows overlay and never shows an overlay
we're going to close it and once you're ready you can hover over
person or thing
and then left-click and it will be

background but it's perfectly fine as we can modify the selection
So you just want to make sure you are on top of add mode

and you just want to hold down the Alt or Option key
left-click drag it out and then you can let go

subtract that specific selection
So once you have got yourself the selection you want to go ahead and click
on the button that will say select and mask

so what we want to do first is we want to get ourselves second means

Refine All Edges Using the Refine Edge Brush Tool
Sometimes you'll find areas like this where it can't tell the difference
between background and person so to fix this we're going
Lasso tool you want right click here and get yourself a polygon
lasso tool then you want to hold alt-left click
once and again you can let all go and go around
Deselect areas you don't want to be included
so for example, as you can see we don't
want to include this bit right here
and you wanna go around and then once you get to the very last
one or first I should say you want to hold ctrl or command and
Then left-click to add it all and it will subtract it from the selection
You will also occasionally run into problems like this for example as you
can see this bit right here on the edge it's a little too soft
and to fix it all you have to do is go to the third tool get yourself down
Set it to 30 for the Brush Tool Pixels
and set it to zero percent for hardness
Then you want to hold the alt option key and then left-click and remove it from here
so you can see we're just cleaning it up
and you can press k to see it look a lot better
preview and as you can see we need to
remove us with the brush tool
Hold left click
and then take this bit off right here we go
You can also just left-click here to add
so what it will do is it will make the edges more solid instead
they're soft and there we go
so you can see that everything is looking really good
And once you're happy with your setting you can scroll down to
go to output 2 and set it to a new layer with a layer mask
and then you want to go ahead and press ok
and there you go as you can see the background is now gone
You can always edit it again if you want, for we've got the selection ourselves or
mask right here
so we can close it
We can preview it if we want and modify it to something else
